Separating RF interference from target signal by ICA in HFSWR

To suppress the radio frequency(RF) interference in the high frequency surface wave radar(HFSWR), a new method based on independent component analysis (ICA) in the single receive channel is proposed. Based on the periodicity of signal and the long time of coherent integration in HFSWR, the target signal and RF interference can be separated by ICA. Experimental results show the validity of the proposed method.
