Abstract
The imaging simulation of dynamic sea surface with synthetic aperture radar(SAR)is an important part of the whole terminal phase guidance simulation with the missile-borne SAR,and has great significance for performance analysis and optimization design to the system. The imaging simulation of dynamic sea surface with missile-borne SAR is studied, and the imaging simulation scheme based on sea wave model and the working progress of SAR is proposed. The sea surface is simulated by a two-scale model based on wave spectrum and the two-scale scattering model is selected as sea surface scattering model for authenticity of simulation and speed of operation. The imaging simulations of dynamic sea surface are made in different sea states using SAR strip-map and squint mode according to a typical set of missile-borne SAR parameters, and the effectiveness of the simulation results are justified by statistical properties of the real SAR image.
