Research and simulation analysis on radio propagation model in electromagnetic environment simulation

Simulation of control and communication is the precondition for aircraft communication system design.Radio propagation loss models for mobile communication are studied,and the point-to-point mode of Longley-Rice model suits the aircraft communication simulation most for its satisfaction with the special requirement. Shuttle radar topography mission digital elevation model(SRTM-DEM)is used as detailed terrain profile data of the propagation path for point-to-point mode in simulation.Compared with the theoretical analysis value,the prediction of transmission loss is highly reliable.
