Pattern synthesis of linear antenna array based on improved quantum particle swarm optimization

An improved quantum particle swarm optimization (QPSO) based on reverse learning is presented in this paper, which adopts reverse learning to increase the diversity of the population so as to enhance searching efficiency greatly and to avoid premature convergence of the algorithm effectively.Pattern synthesis of linear antennas array is actualized successfully using this improved algorithm, and the simulation results of three examples show that the improved QPSO is an effective method in solving such problems.
