      Isogeometric analysis and its application to eccentric parallel cylinders electrostatic problem

      • Isogeometric analysis (IGA) is expanded to electrostatic field problem in this paper. The weakened equations are involved with non-uniform rational B-spline(NURBS) elements from control equations in electrostatic field problem. This new method is applied to solve a typical electrostatic problem in eccentrically parallel cylinders. The results, compared with analytical solution and traditional method, show that the present method yields more excellent results, consumes less degree of freedom(DOF), and obtains quicker convergence than traditional method.
