Abstract
Sub-array divided and interpolated technique are used for DOA estimation on a cylindrical conformal array. A circular array mounted on a cylinder surface is divided to eight identical sub-arrays, and each sub-array is transformed to visual uniform linear array by interpolated technique. Using rotational invariance techniques(ESPRIT)and Root-MUSIC algorithm, direction of arrivals can be estimated accurately and efficiently. Validity of this method is verified by simulation results.
