Abstract
In order to improve the inversion of rainfall field using microwave link network, several microwave link networks with different links and different structures are designed according to the actual communication base stations, and the numerical simulation of rainfall field inversion using microwave link network are carried out based on the rainfall field tomography model with CT imaging and Tikhonov regularization. The effect of different networks on the inversion results are discussed. The results show that the inversion results vary with the different microwave link networks, the mean bias and mean absolute bias of the results are between 1.25 to 4.76 mm/h, the means absolute percentage bias is 3.10% to 9.70% and the value of universal quality index(UQI) is between 0.711 to 0.955; there are better inversion results when the networks have more links, higher density and more uniform distribution. This work provides a technical basis for the actual construction and optimization of the microwave link network for rainfall measurement in the next step, which also has practical value for the improvement of heavy precipitation monitoring in the meteorological and hydrological fields.
