      Scattering characteristics of targets in resonant region and diffraction mechanism of curved surface

      • Aiming at the scattering model of the target in the resonance region, two improved methods for applying the high frequency method to the resonance region are proposed to solve the problem that the accuracy of the high frequency method is reduced in the resonance region. In the resonance region, along with the frequency and the reduction of the target electrical size, the high-frequency series solution in the expression requires more summation terms to make the series converge, in addition to the influence of high-order creeping waves on the scattering field. On the basis of analyzing the scattering characteristics and scattering mechanism of the resonance region, the hybrid geometric optics-physical optical algorithm is combined with the uniform geometric diffraction theory, and the expression of the creeping wave attenuation with the creeping distance is derived, and the metal sphere and 2-D cylinder are calculated. The scattering field summarizes some scattering characteristics of the resonance region target.
