Abstract
In order to reduce the size of antenna and broaden the work bandwidth, a shortwave wideband whip antenna is designed by using loading technique with the broadband matching network technology. Lumped components and transmission lines are proposed in the development. Based on the moment method, the performance of the antenna is analyzed. At the same time, a hybrid optimized algorithm is used which combins the genetic algorithm with the differential evolution algorithm. The integrated optimization of antenna loading and matching network is carried out. A shortwave wideband whip antenna is produced according to the parameters of the integrated antenna. The measured voltage standing wave ratio(VSWR) curve is in good agreement with the simulated VSWR curve, and the correctness of the development is verified.
