Abstract
With the increase of frequency utilization rate, transient signals have a great impact on radio astronomy observations. Effective radio environment measurement and spectrum analysis provide the basis for interference mitigation strategies. Based on the characteristics of radio environment and the principle of spectrum analyzer, key parameter configuration and measurement time calculation methods of the analyzer were analyzed. Then test time planning strategy was determined with measuring requirements, and a quasi-real-time measurement method for radio wave environment was proposed. The method was applied to NSRT (the Nan Shan 25 m radio telescope) site, and the variation of spectrum and frequency occupancy with time was analyzed the results show that this method can effectively analyze electromagnetic interference varied with time.
