Plume modeling based on the gray image and its effect on the characteristics of EM wave propagation

To build a plume model, an efficient numerical modeling method based on the principle of computer graphics is presented in this paper. Firstly, using the optical photograph, the optical intensity distribution of the photo is obtained based on the pixel sampling. Then, according to the optical intensity distribution of the photograph and combining the numerical image processing technique, the calculation model of the plume is established. The modeling process shows that the modeling method is highly efficient and very versatile, and thus can provide an effective and reliable simulation model for engineering applications.
