      Integrated imaging radar and communication design based on random stepped frequency signal

      • The radar and communication integration system can make full use of radars for communication services. Aiming at keeping the performance of the radar and communication applications, and based on the principle of signal sharing, a scheme for integrated imaging radar and communication based on random stepped frequency modulation signal is proposed in this paper. In this scheme, the communication data are random coded and modulated on the carrier frequency, and compressive sensing theory is adopted to realize radar imaging, which accomplishes the communication function without affecting the high resolution imaging radar performance.
