New force of smart antenna: self-structuring antenna

Self-structuring antenna has become one hotspot in current research of smart antenna due to its ability to change the electrical shape itself with the change of the environmental conditions.In this paper, the concept of self-structuring antenna is presented firstly, then three kinds of self-structuring antenna are exhibited to analyze their working principle. Finally, application and prospect of self-structuring antenna are discussed in detail.
