Single-channel blind signal separation and blind estimation of symbol sequences of communication signals

A new method for the blind separation of multiple communication signals received by a single sensor is presented. In this paper based on the different rate and waveform of communication signals, we employs oversampling and high order statistics to turn a single de-mixing problem into the estimation problem of the waveform and symbol that can be solved by means of a conventional ICA (Independent component analysis) algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed algorithm.
