Mode filtering technique applying to planar near-field antenna measurement

This paper introduces a novel mode filtering based technique, which is applied to suppress the reflection during the planar near-field antenna measurement. The details is given, and a practical mode filter function is proposed. The numerical simulation is made. The simulated results show that the results obtained from planar near-field antenna measurement can be improved obviously with the application of mode filtering based technique.
