      Properties of planar frequency selective surface based on metamaterials

      • To reduce frequency selective reflector design dimension and manufacturing cost, the split-ring resonators is studied in the adjustment of the structure size effect on the resonance point, the double layers structure of split-ring resonators (SRR) is proposed. The double layers structure of split-ring resonators is designed, which is realized by utilizing the basic unit cells as negative magnetic conductivity of the metamaterials. The frequency selective reflector makes vertical polarized wave can be transmitted in source frequency band and other wave reflected. Based on the new frequency selective reflection test below, the test results show that the reflection performance meets the design requirements of frequency selective reflector(FSR).
