A novel junction basis function at the connection between wire antennas and conductors
The multiform junction basis functions are analyzed comprehensively based on the method of dealing with junction between wire antennas and conductors presented in the literatures. A novel junction basis function is proposed, which does not exit the problem about function self singularity. The function can be used in such cases as arbitrary connections between wire antennas and conductors due to its simple form and high precision. The input impedances of three cases including wire antenna positions at the conductor surface, edge and vertex are calculated based on the method of moments (MoM), respectively. The numerical results calculated show the validity and effectiveness of the junction basis function.
