Numerical simulation and experiment research on irradiation coupling of electromagnetic to metal enclosure with long penetrative wire
The electromagnetic coupling model of enclosure with long penetrative wire was set up by finite integral time domain method. By changing the parameter value, the coupling law was analyzed. A new experimental plat based on gigahertz transverse electromagnetic cell (GTEM cell) was developed and the numerical results were approved. An equivalent circuit was built to analyze the coupling mechanism. The results indicate that the shielding effective (SE) of enclosure with aperture descends 30 dB averagely when a wire penetrates the aperture. The penetrative wire response has frequency selecting characteristic, when the wire relative length equals to semi-integer, the wire resonance. SE has no change with the length of external wire increases. The resonance frequency of wire is affected by the length of internal wire and thickness of enclosure. The SE of enclosure increases when the distance of test point to penetrative wire is further. The parallel electric field value is bigger, the SE is worse.
