Improved interrupted sampling repeater jamming for synthetic aperture radar
In order to avoid detecting the parameters of synthetic aperture radar and the delay because of the traditional interrupted sampling repeater jamming method, an novel jamming technique based on interrupted sampling repeater jamming has been presented in this paper. The processing of the sampled radar signal makes its frequency shifting because of the delay and the position of false targets moving forward which can protect targets in the area around the jammer effectively. The quantitative relation between the false targets and the order of signal processing or the delay of signal is deduced and analyzed. Simulation show the jamming effects with different order and delay and it can be adjusted conveniently to generate the decoy targets ahead of the real target. The improved method retains advantages of interrupted sampling repeater jamming and solves the lag caused by retransmitting. In particular, it suits the situation that the frequency rate changes every different pulse.
