A new tapped delay line channel model for indoor wideband MIMO channels
A new tapped delay line(TDL) channel model based on indoor radio wave propagation characteristics and measurement data is proposed in this paper, which is used to estimate the mean power delay profile simply and effectively for the line-of-sight(LOS) and non-line-of-sight(NLOS) routes. The model is proven to be consistent with the measurement results. Under the assumption of the wide sense stationary uncorrelated scattering(WSSUS) channels, the tap frequency correlations, tap amplitude distributions, tap Doppler spectrum and the tap space correlations are analyzed as well together with the model to find new ways to evaluate the TDL model. The channel models and parameters are important for indoor multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channel modeling and simulations.
