Power allocation algorithm for V-BLAST system with feedback delay
With the delayed feedback channel state information (CSI), an adaptive power allocation (PA) scheme is developed for V-BLAST systems based on minimize mean square error (MMSE) detector. The conditional probability density function (PDF) of the instantaneous signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) is deduced by system modeling and performance analysis. The average bit error rate (BER) can be computed using mathematical transformation for V-BLAST system. At the transmitter, with the total transmit power constraint condition, adaptive PA matrix can be calculated to minimize instantaneous BER by using the Lagrange multiplier method. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can improve the BER performance effectively for V-BLAST system with feedback delay.
