BER performance of co-time and co-frequency full duplex system with phase and amplitude cancellation

  • The bit error ratio (BER) performance of co-time co-frequency full duplex (CCFD) is analyzed with amplitude and phase cancellation errors of self-interference in additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel. The analysis results show that BER generally decreases while absolute values of phase and amplitude errors decrease for fixed signal to interference ratio (SIR). Numerical error 10-5 degree of carrier phase leads to 0.2 dB power degradation for CCFD on condition of 1.9 GHz carrier frequency, -120 dB SIR and BER 10-2.
