      Application of multiresolution time domain scheme in dispersive media

      • The trapezoidal recursive convolution (TRC) method is incorporated into the muti-resolution time-domain (MRTD) to analyze the dispersive media. The formulations for the Drude-Lorentz media are derived and applied to calculate the reflection coefficients of plasma and aluminium. The numerical results show that, compared with the auxiliary difference equation (ADE) based MRTD, the proposed scheme can obtain more accurate results, while consumes less memory and CPU time.
