Abstract
The commonly used shortwave antenna size is to big to be used in buildings, motion vectors or other limited space. Based on simulation calculation of short vertical monopole antenna model, the transmission transducer power gain (TPG) impact on receiving efficiency is analyzed. The antenna matching network and active amplifier circuit are designed by measuring the antenna input impedance and by using real frequency method. A small whip antenna with a size no greater than one-tenth of the wavelength is designed. By loading the active matching network and after amplified, it can achieve small, ultra-wideband, high efficiency, high sensitivity, etc., and can be flexibly applied in shortwave reception broadband active whip antenna in all types of motion vectors.
