      Modeling and simulation of high-frequency wideband of complex targets and background

      • We present a technique for multi-path electromagnetic(EM) scattering modeling between targets and background. Based on radar cross section(RCS) calculating methods of high-frequency, by combining a multipath model with the forward complex reflecting coefficient model of rough ground, the radar signature of complex targets on the ground (including 1-D range profiles and 2-D SAR images) are studied. By comparing the 1-D range profiles with 2-D SAR images simulated in direct-path and multi-path scattering, the influence of multipath to the scattering of targets are analyzed. The experiments based on simulation data validate the proposed method.
