Time-phase modulation communication technique based on independent component analysis

  • To the problem that in frequency domain designing filter about time-phase modulation(TPM)communication system has some difficulties, this paper introduces independent component analysis(ICA)technique. We build TPM communication system based on independent component analysis,and make preprocessing towards observation signals.Then we adopt time-domain handling method using maximization nongaussian algorithm based on gradient,which can extract the abrupt phase information of timephase modulation signals generated at discrete time point. Finally, through amplitude detection,we can complete recovery of the input signals. The simulations show that the ICA technique can extract features of TPM signals,and the system performance after detection maintains well.
