      Analysis of electromagnetic scattering characteristics of an airborne throwing corner reflector array

      • In order to support the improvement of the end protection capability of stealth aircraft platform, a new corner reflector array is proposed by analyzing the radar cross section (RCS) characteristics of various corner reflectors and stealth aircraft platform. The array structure is composed of four groups of corner reflectors superposed. Meanwhile, the full-angular radar scattering characteristics are modeled and simulated based on CST software. The model sample is made the RCS test is carried out in the far field environment of the microwave darkroom. The simulation results are compared and verified, and the radar scattering characteristics of the corner reflector array are obtained. The structure of the corner reflector array has the characteristics of small forward RCS and large forward and positive side RCS, which can be dropped from the aircraft platform and keep flying, thus it has good interference application value.
