Abstract
In order to improve the terminal protection ability and battlefield survivability of important targets on the ground, a new corner reflector structure with adjustable radar cross section (RCS) characteristics is presented in this paper. Based on this, a multistage rotary corner reflector array design is completed. The array is composed of multiple double layer superimposed array units, in which each corner reflector can rorate around the central axis. The internal reflector blade can rotate, so as to realize the adjustment of RCS characteristics. At the same time, based on CST software, the RCS characteristics of linear and circular arrays are modeled and simulated. And the optimization analysis is carried out for the array layout interval. The simulation result proves that the RCS of the multistage rotary corner reflector array can be changed flexibly. So the passive false target jamming effect can be generated flexibly according to different protection requirements. The effective protection of important targets on the ground can not be realized.
