      Bistatic 1D HRRP characteristics of typical corner reflector array

      • Corner reflector plays an important role in ship target defense. How to counter the corner reflector interference effectively is currently a difficult research problem. Taking the typical octahedral corner reflector array as an example, this paper obtains the wideband bistatic scattering data by electromagnetic calculation and anechoic chamber measurement and analyzes the change law of 1D high-resolution range profiles (HRRP) with the observation angle and the bistatic geometry. The results show that the scattering intensity of the corner reflector decreases sharply when the bistatic angle reaches certain condition, which can be used to counter the corner reflector.
