      Interference computation equivalent method for giant constellations

      • Due to the large scale and complex interference scenarios of the giant low-orbit constellation, in view of the high computational complexity of single-point deduction, which can not meet the current requirements of the timeliness of the interference calculation of the giant constellation, the complexity of the lumped interference calculation algorithm in the interference calculation of the constellation is targeted to be optimized, and the equivalent method of interference calculation for the giant constellation is proposed. In the aspect of link selection, the equivalent model of constellation link selection is established based on the spatial distribution characteristics of satellites in the field of view of the ground station, which reduces the calculation of the link selection method. In the aspect of single-link interference calculation, for the complex calculation of antenna gain calculation, propagation calculation, polarization isolation coefficient and other parameters, the total gain equivalent factor of giant constellation is proposed to reduce the complexity of single-link interference calculation. Taking Starlink and OneWeb constellations as examples, the experimental results show that the proposed method can be used for the low complexity equivalent calculation of giant constellations, with the complexity reduced by 90%, and effectively improve the timeliness of the frequency compatibility analysis of giant constellations.
