      The design and performance analysis of VLF tethered balloon cable antenna

      • The VLF tethered balloon cable antenna is an important part of the mobile vehicle VLF communication system. While the cable is used as the tethered cable of the balloon floating platform, it also needs to have the antenna radiation function of VLF electromagnetic wave. According to the electrical and physical characteristics of the VLF radiation antenna, through the calculation of the key parameters of the antenna, the design and simulation of cable attitude and radiation pattern under different wind speeds are realized in the form of photoelectric composite tethered structure in engineering. Finally, combined with theoretical analysis and system wide communication test data, the radiation efficiency of VLF tethered balloon cable antenna is comprehensively evaluated to verify the correctness and efficiency of the antenna design. It has accumulated some experience and data for the related research of VLF radiation antenna in China.
