      Research progress and prospect of atmospheric turbulence for wireless optical communication

      • This paper takes wireless optical communication as a breakthrough point and describes the research progress of atmospheric turbulence. The influence of the atmospheric turbulence on the wireless optical communication is analyzed from the point of the beam spread, beam drift and so on. Finally, the authors’ assumption of suppressing atmospheric turbulence is given. The experimental work of Xi’an University of Technology in the field of atmospheric turbulence suppression is introduced. Although these methods are immaturity, this is meaningful exploration on the domain.
