      The latest development of the modulated metasurface antenna

      • 摘要: 超表面调制天线是近年来从超材料技术中所衍生出来的前沿研究方向,对于新型电扫天线的设计具有重要意义,其具有低成本、低功耗、灵活可控等优势特性,在电磁场辐射、隐身等领域具有重要的应用前景。文章对电磁超表面进行了简要概述,总结了超表面调制天线的设计思路和工作机理,综述了国内外在超表面调制天线领域的研究进展和应用成果。最后阐述了当前超表面调制技术所面临的关键问题,并对超表面调制天线的未来发展前景进行了展望。

         

        Abstract: As a new research frontier derived from metamaterial technology in recent years, the metasurface modulation antenna is of great significance for the design of new electronic sweep antenna, which has advantages such as low cost, low power consumption, flexibility and controll ability, and has an important application prospect in fields such as electromagnetic field radiation and stealth. This paper presents a brief overview of the metasurface, summarizes design thought and operation mechanism of modulated metasurface antenna (MMA), and introduces the recent progress of MMA on research and application. Finally, it expounds the crucial problem faced by the modulation technique and future development of MMA.
