一款腿部靶向加热环形阵列聚焦天线设计

      Design of a focused circular antenna array for leg microwave hyperthermia

      • 摘要: 针对人体腿部病灶组织靶向加热需求,设计了一款环形阵列聚焦天线,环形阵列天线由8个平面子阵列旋转对称组成。为了验证环形阵列天线对人体腿部病灶组织的靶向加热性能,在环形阵列天线的腔体内设置有数字小腿模型和耦合液体。针对不同位置和体积大小的腿部病灶组织的靶向加热需求,采用约束扩展最大功率传输效率法计算了环形阵列天线的激励分布。仿真和实验结果表明,环形阵列天线可以将辐射功率有效聚焦到不同位置和体积大小的腿部病灶组织区域,避免了通过调控工作频率来调控聚焦焦斑大小的缺点,在微波靶向热疗领域具有潜在应用价值。

         

        Abstract: This paper presents a focused circular antenna array for the targeted hyperthermia of lesions in the human leg. The circular array consists of eight planar subarrays arranged in rotational symmetry. To validate the targeted heating performance, a digital leg phantom surrounded by coupling liquid is placed within the array cavity. The excitation distribution of the array is optimized by using the constrained extended method of maximum power transfer efficiency (CEMMPTE) for lesions of diverse sizes and locations. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate that the proposed array effectively focuses radiated energy onto the target regions. Furthermore, the focal spot size is steered by the excitation distribution instead of adjusting the operating frequency, and such a scheme has potential application in target microwave hyperthermia.
